Position Summary

An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced Neuropsychologist/Occupational Therapist/Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our the Community Brain Disorders Assessment and Treatment service (CBDATS) at the Brain Disorders Program (BDP). The BDP is within the Specialty Services of the Austin Health Mental Health Division. CBDATS is a state-wide community consultation service or person aged 18 - 64 who has a dual disability of acquired brain injury (ABI) or neurodegenerative disease and psychiatric disorders. 

We are seeking clinician who has an interest in working with clients who have significant cognitive and behavioural difficulties with mental health concern following an ABI. You must be able to work collaboratively within a multidisplinary team in providing secondary consultation, assessment, education and support to clients living in the home enviroment or community housing. The role requires you to work Monday through to Friday on 08:30- 17:00 hours. This is a full time position.

To be successful in this role you must demonstrate that you meet requirement of key selection criteria in the position dsecription and must have a current registeration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or relevant governing body with experience in mental health.
