Austin Health is world-renowned for its research and specialist work in cancer, liver transplantation, spinal cord injuries, neurology, endocrinology, mental health and rehabilitation.

An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced Under 18 Senior Triage Clinician (RPN4, SW3, OT3,P3) to join our Under 18 Triage. The Senior Clinician is accountable to the Triage Coordinator of the Triage Assessment and planning service (TAPS) and will work collaboratively with the broader Mental Health staff and teams.  

The main duties of Triage clinicians include providing an initial point of contact for clients and referrers with a focus on children, young people and their families; triaging referrals according to clinical urgency and required response times; conducting face-to-face assessments of clients requiring urgent assessment; and providing information to consumers, referrers and staff about alternative community resources.
