An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join the North East Area Mental Health Service - Continuing Care Service.


Details of Department

The North East Continuing Care Service (NE CCS) is a part of Austin Mental Health Division. NE CCS is a case management service, made up of a multidisciplinary team. NE CCS provides assessment, treatment and care to consumers in their local community through provision of direct care services, case management, health promotion activities and community development within a recovery focused frame work.

  • You will have a professional qualification in a health-related discipline (Psychology, Psychiatric Nursing, Social Work, Occupational Therapy)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a relevant mental health setting
  • Demonstrated knowledge of recovery and collaborative clinical practice.
  • A working knowledge of the Mental Health Act (2014), the Carer Recognition Act (2012), and Chief Psychiatrists Guidelines
