Position Summary

Austin Health is the major provider of tertiary health services, health professional education and research across 3 campuses in the northeast of Melbourne and state-wide. Austin Health is world-renowned for its research and specialist work in cancer, liver transplantation, spinal cord injuries, neurology, endocrinology, mental health and rehabilitation.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Dietitian to join our Nutrition and Dietetics team. The position is Grade 1, full time, fixed term (14th October 2019 – 16 October 2020).

This position is one of two grade 1 positions based on our acute site and will have primary work responsibilities across our acute care streams.  This grade 1 position could be based within our Cancer, Surgical, Specialist Medicine or Paediatric/Mental health streams and is expected to move between streams according to service demand and operational need.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this position you must be qualified to practice as a dietitian in Australia, as recognised by the Dietitians Association of Australia.
