Position Summary:

  • Newly created role- working within the Intensive Community Mental Health Package (ICP) guidelines by Vic DHHS
  • Based in Heidelberg
  • Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5pm
  • Open to: Registered Psychiatric Nurse/Occupational Therapist/Social Worker/Clinical Psychologist
  • Member of the North East Area Mental Health Service (NEAMHS) Case Management Team

This role is a unique opportunity to have a real impact in meeting the needs of one of our community’s most complex and vulnerable cohorts. You will form solid working-relationships within the pre-existing community teams, and foster strong therapeutic relationships with your clients. We support rehabilitation goals through the use of best evidence-based frameworks and assertive case management.

  • You will have a professional qualification in a health-related discipline (Psychology, Psychiatric Nursing, Social Work, Occupational Therapy)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a relevant mental health setting
  • Demonstrated knowledge of recovery and collaborative clinical practice.
  • A working knowledge of the Mental Health Act (2014), the Carer Recognition Act (2012), and Chief Psychiatrists Guidelines
