Position Summary

Austin Health is the major provider of tertiary health services, health professional education and research across 3 campuses in the northeast of Melbourne and state-wide. Austin Health is world-renowned for its research and specialist work in cancer, liver transplantation, spinal cord injuries, neurology, endocrinology, mental health and rehabilitation.

An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and  experienced Mental Health Clinician to join our community team  in the Austin Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS)

We are a vibrant multidisciplinary team.  Applications are strongly encouraged from occupational therapists and speech therapists with a paediatric or mental health background who are passionate about the developmental and mental health needs of children and young people. 

Our work encompasses clinical assessment, risk formulation, therapeutic interventions and support of children, young people and their families and carers.  We work closely with staff in a range of other sectors, such as  schools, Child Protection, family services and community systems.
