Position Summary

Austin Health is the major provider of tertiary health services, health professional education and research across 3 campuses in the northeast of Melbourne and state-wide. Austin Health is world-renowned for its research and specialist work in cancer, liver transplantation, spinal cord injuries, neurology, endocrinology, mental health and rehabilitation.

An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced Registered Nurse to join our team on 5 West.

Ward 5 West is a 28 bed medical respiratory ward. The ward comprises of a 4 bed HDU for ventilated patients and those who require specialised care for respiratory failure. We are also home to the Victorian Respiratory Support Service for ventilated patients within the state. We have a 2 bed inpatient sleep unit, which is the only one of its kind in Victoria.

To work on 5 West respiratory experiences is preferred. 12 months experience within the acute sector is required.

We are looking for a dynamic nurse who is keen to enhance their respiratory skills and works well in a team.
