Position Summary
  • Play a pivotal role in supporting the COO directorate in partnership with the Finance Business Partners
  • Full time opportunity, 40 hours per week including monthly Accrued Days Off

About the team

The Divisional Financial Services team working closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) directorate providing support:

  • Commercial insight, financial advice, funding and activity analysis and business case support
  • Divisional budgeting, forecasting and reporting

About the role

A regular day will see you:

  • Assist with the COO directorate support functions and COO key project deliverables
  • Provide support to the COO Finance Business Partners
  • Provide standardised reports
  • Perform hospital and financial administrative functions
  • Maintain registers and tracking systems
  • Process journals, both in a routine and ad hoc capacity
  • Support end-to-end budget process and month end reporting processes

About you

To be successful in this role you'll bring with you:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in commerce, business, accounting, economics, law, administration, finance or a similar area.
  • Demonstrated initiative and the ability to develop innovative solutions to problems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Recognised analytical and reconciliation skills
  • Demonstrates supportive and facilitative approach to problem-solving
