About the Mental Health Allied Health Graduate Program:  

Austin Mental Health is building the Occupational therapy workforce and we are actively recruiting Graduate Occupational Therapists to commence in July/August 2024. 

The Allied Health Graduate Program will offer the following: 

  • Two 12-month rotations across two teams within the Mental Health Division.
  • Comprehensive induction & orientation to teams, services, and the clinical work 
  • Protected opportunities to learn and implement evidence-based practice 
  • Work within multidisciplinary teams which include Lived Experience  
  • Equitable workload allocation to allow for graded development of skills and competencies. 
  • Development of a comprehensive learning plan 
  • A range of support and supervision models including peer support and discipline specific supervision.
  • Clinical educator support, regular and targeted professional development opportunities and protected learning time.
