Austin Health provides hospital services across three sites in Heidelberg and Kew.
The Waste Services Team is an in-house service responsible for the collection, movement and management of Austin Health’s waste streams including general, recycling and clinical waste. The team also plays a key role in reducing waste and identifying and implementing new initiatives.
About the role
On the Job Training will be provided, As a Waste Services officer, you will collect and move waste from key point. You may be required to drive Austin Health operated vehicles. You will also work with other staff to help Austin Health achieve its waste management targets. This role requires a high level of physical activity.
You will need to have:
- The ability to work in a team enviroment.
- Good communication skills.
- High level of fitness.
- A minimum medium rigid licence (not essential).
