Austin Health is world-renowned for its research and specialist work in cancer, liver transplantation, spinal cord injuries, neurology, endocrinology, mental health and rehabilitation.

An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced Pathology Collector/Phlebotomist to join our Pathology Collections Department at our new collection rooms in Ouyen.

This part time position is for an experienced pathology collector to work alone in our Ouyen collection Centre. 

To be successful in this role you must demonstrate/Key responsibilities will include:

Have a sound knowledge of pathology collections, being able to work alone and be the face of Austin Pathology in Ouyen, including ECG, hospital ward rounds and home visits.  Have the ability to time manage, adapt to new policies and procedures along with excellent communication skills, Certificate III in pathology collection or equivalent a must.
