About the Asset Services Department

The Asset Services Department is committed to providing the highest standard of specilaised asset management and engineering maintenaance service to the Austin Hospital (AH), Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital (HRH) and Royal Talbot Rehabilittion Centre (RTRC). We are responsible for the operational, maintenance, repair and replacement of all plant and equipment and management of specified medical equipment. We are on a journey of innovation and continuous improvement aimed at improving efficiencies across all areas of Asset Services.

About the role

Based in the Asset Services area, you will provide administration and operational services support for all the Asset Services departments. 

A regular day will see you:

  • Complete administrative tasks to  high standard ensuring objectives are met
  • Engage with stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes, escalating issues when required
  • Perform the duties of this position efficiently and to the standards of the directorate
  • Interact with the workshop staff on a regular and continuous basis
  • Implement change and continuous improvement in procedures and processes
